We invest our own capital
We are not deploying someone else’s fund. Since 2019 we have backed founders from our own balance sheet - which keeps our incentives aligned with the companies we support.
We operate, not just allocate
We bring finance, technology and market expertise into every company, acting as a partner through the hardest early milestones.
We enter early and exit at Series A
Our model is disciplined: we back companies at pre-seed and seed and typically realise our position at Series A - unless we love the company and choose to stay for the long run.
We stay small on purpose
We are a boutique firm, not a large fund. We back a small number of companies so every founder gets senior attention and a genuinely close working relationship - the opposite of being one line in a big portfolio.

CFO of 1291 Group and former CFO at Credit Suisse in Luxembourg, with over 25 years in finance, treasury and trading operations across Zurich, Hong Kong, New York and Luxembourg. An ETH Zurich graduate and Swiss Board School certified, he brings financial governance and risk oversight.
